Recipe: Denim with Ribbon or Twine AND Buttons or Brads
Paula here again. Thanks so much to everyone who played in my Bling Bling with Nature challenge last week! We were so thrilled to see so many gorgeous entries. Be sure to check back on Wednesday to see who we have chosen as the Top Talent.
And now on to this week's challenge...I'm an Arkansan. We wear jeans all the time... work, church, play, even weddings. You name it, we can make the denim work. So dress it up or dress it down but use 3 ribbons or twine, 3 buttons or brads, and some denim (either real or faux via printed paper or a technique) on a project.
Guest Designer- Mitra Pratt.
(Denim, ribbon and brad.)
(denim scallop trim, denim ribbon flowers, more ribbon, baker's twine and three buttons)
Everyone is welcome to play along. If you upload your card/project to SCS, please use the keyword OCCC.
We ask that you read the challenge requirements carefully and not submit work that does not fit our challenge. Any submissions that do not follow the challenge requirements will be removed.
We do require that your project be a new project and not back-linked to a project made before this challenge started. Please be sure you link back to the OCC blog post in order to be eligible for our Top Talent award. This challenge closes at 11:59 p.m.Eastern Time on August 17th.
Please turn off word verification. The design team WILL NOT leave comments if you have Word Verification turned on!!!
fun samples, love the dude with jeans almost up to his chin, totally cracked me up. BTW - I don't care where it is, or any other details - NEVER, NEVER, NEVER wear jeans to a wedding - just say NO. I think we gotta send Stacy and Clinton to Arkansas.
